The Montenegro-Sweden Friendship Society of Stockholm is an independent, non-political, membership organization, founded in 2017. It is run by volunteers and has over 20 members. The Association is dedicated to helping Nordic lands become better informed about Montenegro–its past, its current achievements and challenges, and what the future may hold.
Our main activity is holding monthly public meetings featuring speakers on a wide variety of topics. The presentation is followed by a question and answer period. Refreshments are served at the end of the evening, allowing for individual discussions and socializing. Monthly speaker presentations are free for members.
The Association hosts an annual Montenegro Banquet and sends delegates to conferences/tours in Montenegro, occasionally receives friendship delegations from Montenegro. The Montenegro-Sweden Friendship Society of Stockholm is a member of the Friendship Associations in Sweden.
